[ on retrospect, he probably shouldn't have done that. they are all much like caged animals here (or rather, suddenly let loose in a wide open space, the freedom itself being a chain, a weight around their neck) and they are apt to lash out under pressure - which is what happens when Alucard grabs for his wrist with a motion that would be too, too quick for human eye to discern. but Heine is something a little more than human, even though it isn't as sharp as it used to be, he isn't as strong or as fast as he is used to, it is maybe enough for Heine to be able to shift his weight a little, feet sliding on the dirt ground, to avoid having his arm twisted into a painful, immobile position.
