In my own world the only intelligent species are humans, and a handful of advanced artificial intelligences.

[This was a debatable statements, since there was potentially at least two gods, not to mention set-sets—humans who had had their senses rewired form birth to process data. There were plenty who wouldn't call them human, but Sniper was firmly not in that camp. One of their siblings was a set-set, and fiercely proud of it.

The skipped question doesn't go unnoticed, but Sniper's content to play nice. Given the relationship between vampires and humans in literature, it made sense Alucard was wary.]


But the idea of 'vampire' has been huge in fiction throughout the centuries. It's fascinating to think there's a world where it's fact, what is must be like.
