WHO: Arya ([personal profile] gastaurknan), Ardyn ([personal profile] daemonized), and X'rhun ([personal profile] verflair)
WHERE: Their shared apartment.
WHEN: Backdated to about a day or so after this.
WHAT: It's time to set up some IKEA furniture!
NOTES OR WARNINGS: Ardyn being Ardyn

[ Arya promised she'd help make her roommates' lives easier, and that was a promise she intended to keep.

and she figured step one of that mission was to help with the furnishings. Arya was told that where they'd be living was pretty small, but she hadn't been prepared for exactly how small it was. furniture placement was going to be tricky, this much she knew… but it was especially tricky knowing some (maybe most) of the furnishings weren't even built, yet! now granted, she had absolutely zero skill in carpentry, or any sort of craftsmanship -- she can't be sure, but she's pretty certain she left all of that to her uncle. but she was informed that all of the parts needed were already cut to size, and there were even instructions on how to put them together. all that needed to be done was to actually put them together.

it seemed easy enough. and if what she learned about the implant was true, then that would only make the process even more streamlined!

or at least, that was her thought process. when Arya finally considered the amount of furniture that needed to be put together and how many loose parts there were between all the furniture, she begins to wonder if this will really be as feasible as she was told. but it was like she told her mentor: one step at a time. she'll figure it out, and with her roommates (hopefully both of them) helping, putting everything together will be a breeze.

Um… [ she looks about at the mess of plastic and metal strewn around the room after pulling in the last of what was needed. ] I think that's everything. And the instructions are supposed to be in here?

[ she points to her temple, indicating the implant. ]
