Setting that aside for now, he can see from the look on her face that she's worried about him. He smiles at her, trying to set her at ease, and then lifts one of his hands to wipe at his forehead. He's able to lean back onto his knees, arms settling at his sides as he continues to try and catch his breath.
She might have said something to him that he didn't hear, so he's quick to reassure her. ]
