[It's hard not to worry. It wasn't as hard when she hid herself away in an abandoned building or - daresay a lighthouse - alone and afraid and licking her wounds with only Lady. Or worse - utterly alone. But surrounded by people who are more than nameless faceless concepts? Hell, she'd worried about them - so it's impossible not to do so when she's able to pin deeds and names and everything else that goes along to faces. Faces she sees often. Serious, stressed out and tired faces.]

Not the worst I've seen. And you don't look bad, just tired.

[A small smile, not tired, just worried, trying not to think on what might have happened that resources are an issue. She's not going to pretend she didn't hear, but she's not going to bring it up, either. If Gaby thinks they should know, she'll tell them: or someone else will.]

If you're hungry, if food sounds ...well, good, then yes. Some people drink. You could do that, too, if you wanted. If I can't do anything to help and you're not running out the door, then there must be time enough to sit, or to take a breath or even, yes, eat a sausage.
