[ she doesn't mind. max isn't really big on sharing and the fact that touching someone provides you with an up close and personal view of their life doesn't make her feel settled. at least she's had a lot of experience avoiding physical contact lately. ]

I don't know if I'd call it settling. It's more like adapting.
