[ It is a valid question. She fought a regime intent on taking over the continent and had the Allies lost, there's no telling how far they would have gone β€” especially with HYDRA harnessing otherworldly power. But influence expanding beyond the borders of a planet? That's a new scenario and one she's getting accustomed to thinking about. Humanity is never happy with what it has, it must always reach farther and to the stars if necessary. ]

There are colonies in space, but I've never been to them. As I understand it, the UN is looking to terraform other planets so it may be a matter of time. Earth is overpopulated and they're trying to find more room, but life in the colonies is harsh.

[ And there's pushback on shipping people out there. She doesn't know much about it, but the information is out there for anyone who seeks it out. ]

You might want to speak to Gaby about public sentiment on the subject β€” or about anything, really. She'll be more honest than what the government puts forward. [ She exhales. ] It's within their power to do a great deal. People are afraid of the UNA and they reinforce the rules when local law enforcement can't. People don't speak Morningstar's name out there but the UNA receives the same treatment, even in the underground.

[ Her lips quirk. Morningstar and the UNA have been at it for over fifty years and the world won't breathe life into either organisation β€” for the same reasons? Unclear. ]

Interesting, isn't it?
