[ There it is.

Amos does give himself a second to consider what the rules are here, if any; the area's rundown, but it's nice past that. There must be some rules. Even Baltimore had them, even if their only real point was making it easy for things to get swept under the rug. He also, briefly, thinks of Holden — what would he do? He probably wouldn't kill someone just for being a drunk idiot.

If Kovacs was expecting his weight to make him slow, he's in for a rude surprise. The empty cup hits the ground and Amos moves, grabbing a fistful of fabric at his collar and the waist of his pants and lifts, wrenching him forward and up to obliterate any traction he's got on the ground. The bonfire's close, but it's messy — you can't control someone burning to death. There are upturned bins littered around in a haphazard circle, though, and none of them will make for a soft landing when Amos shifts his grip mid-swing and tries to drop Kovacs on his back.

More slam than drop, honestly, but gravity does a lot. Lifting's harder here than it is in low gravity, but that makes it a decent trade-off. ]
