Yeah, but you've been given the chance to put yourself in a mildly stressful situation and figure it out on your own. Doesn't need to be when you're in physical danger. Which is way safer.

When I uh, figured out I was a mutant? I was fending off a bully. Electrocuted him, could have killed him--luckily, I didn't. Because I'd never be able to live with that but I learned to control it after. Learning sooner than later can help avoid that too.
