He thinks that the view should be impressive, were it not for a neighboring building blocking near half of the skyline, casting a long shadow that reaches into his office when the sun is at just the right angle.
An elbow presses into the arm of the chair, and he slowly faces the door in a lazy half-spin. A brow is raised expectantly, as if someone or something might step through to save him.]
