[The problem is, rather than pointing her gun at the moose-ape, she turns it on Prompto. He calls to watch out, she sees it as if he's led them into a trap. Anger isn't an emotion that Clarke bears well. Guilt. Sadness. Grief. All of those are easier. Anger is emotional. Cutting. When she's angry at someone, she takes action. She's decisive. She may not think clearly, and her brain convinces her that she is right now.

So, yes. Her brain tells her that Prompto—who she loves, who she cares for—has led them into a trap.

That's why she points a gun at him.]

[A trap. The look in her eyes is crazed and uneasy, like she's looking for a reason to snap.]
