[Roxas opens his eyes and for a moment, he's not sure where he is. This isn't the castle and it isn't his fake bedroom in Twilight Town. But it's been so long since he's been to either of those places—when was the last time he slept anywhere?
And then it all comes back to him. The graveyard, the battles there, and then waking up here. Sneaking his way through a hospital filled with monsters, meeting up with Sora and then Riku, and finally being brought here, a place they were told they'd be safe. He'd picked out a space for himself and must have fallen asleep at some point. No surprise, really—it had been a long, long day.
Now that he's awake again, Roxas isn't sure what comes next. He's grateful to be himself again, in his own body and sharing a heart with no one else, but this isn't what he'd have expected from his next life, if he'd expected to have one at all. A small gurgle in his stomach gives him one idea, though. He gets to his feet and starts to head toward what he thinks he remembers is the direction of the kitchen. Food is a start; he'll figure out step two afterward.]
