[ dutch hates being manipulated and zerzura was nothing but manipulation — so she's happier to be back in new amsterdam than she would have been staying in zerzura, but happier doesn't mean happy. johnny's still gone and she's still here, stuck, adrift.

but she remembers a decision she'd half-made before zerzura. she's done letting this place jerk her around, pull her strings. she's going to pave her own way. but first? first, she's going to enjoy all that this festival has to offer. she can be found drinking (copious amounts of) mulled wine or even scotch, lounging on futons or wandering the festival grounds. at some point, she might even let someone talk her into wearing a flower crown that emphasises her dark eyes and darker hair.

she also makes a point of standing under the mistletoe or seeking out those beneath the mistletoe because drinking and flirting and everything that flirtation might lead to? those are things dutch enjoys and she damn well deserves some enjoyment, if you ask her. ]

[ dutch's dreams range from the inane to the utterly violent, but this dream is a different kind. this dream is all wandering hands and intertwined bodies, heat and steam and heavy, intoxicating scents, it's gasps and moans and proximity.
