["I'm used to it." Yes, that's the thing that Clarke picked up on in Zerzura, and it's why she's passing this information now. She considers the words, and decides that's not good enough. Yes, Faith might be used to it because it's all she'd been allowed to know, but that doesn't mean it can't change. These things can change. Should change.

Her fingers stop their movements. As it is, Clarke is nearing being done, at least this time around. The wound is tighter in its closure, no longer revealing anything as bad as what had been there before. She ties off one of the sutures just before they do still, and then she puts down her supplies.

She then presses her hand against the bare of Faith's back. Though it's gloved, there's a sense of I'm here in the motion. A reminder. Skin to skin, or not—it doesn't matter.]

You don't have to be, Faith. That's what I'm trying to tell you. You don't have to accept it now, don't have to ... accept this reality, but that's the way things are. [A beat. Some truly Clarke Griffin words are incoming.]

Besides, you don't seem like you're used to it. You're not very good at acting as if you are, anyway. [And there they are. Overstepping just a bit.

Her hand pulls away, picking up the tools to finish her job.]
