one of the things cassian is interested in here in new beijing is the hotel where the new displaced were found. it seemingly functions as a normal hotel, but nobody questioned their going to rooms 303 and 304. if cassian looked into the business, would he find anything significant? links to people or suspicious money trails or odd connections?

i'm also really interested in having cassian look deeper into riverstone while he's in new beijing, but i'm sort of floundering on how to get that started and what might be the best direction to go in. one idea i had was maybe using jyn's employee status at pulsar to get some kind of tour. another was cassian just offering up the fact that he has a cyberkinetic spine and gushing about how the technology saved his life and how fascinated by the process he is and knowing riverstone had a big part in developing it etc. alternatively idk if his vyonation connection would be useful here? i'd like him to get his foot in the door just to poke around in some capacity, but i don't know the best way to approach that.

i also think he would just talk casually to locals about riverstone as a company just to get a feel for the more local perspective, especially since they're based in new beijing.
