[That's something Nill has started to consider as well over the past few seconds, and it honestly makes her stomach flip in the most unpleasant way. She's always had a feeling that the people who drop them off know more about the displaced than they let on, and this only serves to confirm that.

But she pushes down her initial panic, smoothing over her feelings until she feels like she's okay to hug Cass. It's a little weird for her, at first, since it's been so long since she's actually hugged anyone. On the ship, it was easier--she had time to get used to casual touch, and actually found that it was nice, comforting. But the empathy bond here had been such a shock at first that it's taken her long, long months to get back to a place where she can feel comfortable even putting her hand on someone's shoulder.

But once she gets over her initial nervousness, it's... nice. Cass is warm, both in her emotions and just being this close to her, and that helps her feel more comfortable. She definitely comes off as a little uncertain at first, but after a moment, it becomes clear that she actually enjoys the hug, and is glad that Cass is the one giving it to her. She'd almost forgotten how nice and normal things like this were. Eventually, she does pull back a little, a little bit of pink dusted high on her cheeks, and she smiles widely. She sends a text, since her hands are still around Cass' back.]

Thanks. I didn't know I needed that.
