Ian's surprisingly tall and surprisingly well-built, all things considered. It tends to surprise people, or at least it surprised Kyna when she met him for the first time. People brace for a pretty unremarkable nerd, but Ian's a little over six feet and he's got broad shoulders, broad chest, broad biceps from all the manual labor that comes with mechanical engineering.
(And woodworking, metal working, replacing floors, constantly doing home improvement to keep himself busy...)
