[The muscle that jumps at the very corner of Natasha's jaw, coupled with the way her knuckles blanch as her grip tightens around the gurney are the only signs of distress at Barnes' offer. Considering how observant he is though, it's probably enough to tip her hand, give her away.

Might not even require any extraordinary feats of observation, considering the conversation they're having.

It's not what she prepared for as she made the decision to text Barnes. Or what she worked through with every step on her walk to his location. The thought of willingly giving Barnes the memory, like chipping away a piece of herself and holding it out for him to take-- It's a lot.

But it's also too weighty a memory for her to risk on an untrained maneuver. Even if it makes sense.

No matter what she does, Barnes will see the memory.

Natasha's ribs ache with the depth of her next inhale. Giving it to him now for it to be shared back later seems safer than just hoping that he can undo it. That is, if they both live to see the end of this.]

How do I give you the memory? [The first hint of emotion begins to seep into Natasha's voice, just a thin thread of reluctance. She'd trust Barnes with her life. But her mind is a different thing.]
