"There were three." Quentin is so relieved that he doesn't really think through the fact he only saw one get defeated, he thought maybe the other two left or ran away. The others in the kitchen do seem to feel better with Jon's confirmation.

He looks at Jon and steps to the side with him, lowering his voice. "They could've left ...." But he's not sure he believes that. It seems more likely they smartly moved around the building to see if they could attack from another angle. Quentin hears the skittering of feet as if he put that thought into being.
