His eyes wander quickly over all the surfaces he sees and something locks in his mind whether he knows it or not. His power knows where to go. "Okay, you open the door. Let's see if it works."

Quentin focuses his mind on doing exactly as Jon says. He uses one surface to project himself upon all the others, showing up in different parts of the area, his chest glowing. The other versions of him look scared and yell, same as him, but it definitely throws the monsters all off. They try to attack other ones without knowing it's fake. Perfect for Jon to jump in.
