[There was a time when Clarke had believed that people weren't defined by what they did to survive, but what they did when it all was said and done. And there was a time when she believed Finn could atone for his actions. Hell, she thought she could do better. In a lot of ways, she's still trying. But seeing the city like this makes it hard to hold on to that. Doing better comes with conditions, with hope.]
