[ Rather than wanting to break away from the crushing guilt, Wash wishes he could carry it for her. There's plenty they both feel bad about but this isn't something that's her fault. He's certain of that, no matter what she thinks. It's just something that happened, and it sounds horrible but he'd never blame her. Right? He's never blamed her?
