The cant of his head marks his slightly wry amusement at Wade's poorly disguised not-quite-admission. He'll take that to mean Marian's not exactly been a silent benefactor, but Wade goes on and Stephen follows his thread to its end, not digging in for more news on that score. The activities of the other Cardinals are only tangentially of here, and Marian at least is one he has no concerns about.

"Oh, no. You're practically ancient." Says Stephen, the joke at his own expense this time, old enough to be most people in this room's long dead ancestor a couple of generations removed.

"But I suppose you're right. Best to get them in while you still have them in you."
