Never heard of them. And those names? Lame.

( terry's fingers wander and the moment they get a little too close to where the synthetic skin attaches to his actual skin, aidan--pulls his hand back. just enough. he's already experienced that once today, he's not ready yet for round two. maybe later. )

They're old. The skin stretches, but the bones don't. I've had these since--hell, the oldest one I got when I was ten? ( he curls in a pinky, and the ring finger next to it. ) Newest one was from about three years ago. Replacing just the insides and letting the skin stretch to suit's a shitton cheaper than replacing the whole bit. But the bad part about it is once you cut into synthetic skin, the mark doesn't go away.
