[ He's just happy to have someone who gets how he's lived the past several years, really. Hook might not be familiar with space, but it sounds like their lived experiences have a lot in common - whether it be out in the black or out on the blue - and Amos has been missing having someone like that around; someone who just gets it, who doesn't need anything like that explained to them. It's nice.

He keeps a pleasant enough expression on his face as they walk, taking in everything Hook's saying. ]

Man himself, huh? How'd he seem to you? [ Amos isn't a fan of Henries purely on instinct, though he figures that's natural enough; he did get inter-dimensionally kidnapped, or something along those lines. ] You do anything to him?

[ Because, well. Hook was just robbing a guy back there. Stands to reason he's probably not the most upstanding guy, and he's curious to know if that extends to everybody, or if the powerful get leniency.

And stories. Huh. ]

You know, in the Aerie - that other world the rest of us got stuck in - inequality was pretty extreme. Just a few with all the power, stepping on the necks of the many without. [ Don't mind how he'd been closer to the former than the latter there. ] It's like that where I'm from, too. That seems pretty universal.
