The post-apocalyptic cyberpunk setting I wasn't super used to, but the concept of superpowers, the multiverse, gods, monsters? Yeah. That's all pretty familiar. I used to be a magician, a real one. I miss magic a lot.
[ Quentin sometimes has a strange way of talking about things, such as pointing out the cyberpunk setting, and he talks about things like protagonists, the hero's journey, and tropes. It's what happens when the literary concepts are what you know best and then many of them become real. His knowledge of these things have actually come in handy there.
He's very chatty in comparison, albeit with some social anxiety that is always underneath. He cares a lot about people and what they think, and if they are okay. [ He pulls his gaze from the preacher over to Amos, flickering a smile both weary and a little melancholy. It's been a hard time since forever, but there's a lot weighing on everyone these days. Especially someone who takes everything hard. ]
We have a lot of impact on this world. No one asked to be seen as gods, but it's happening whether we want it to or not. And it's not fair but we have power and they don't. We have to take that seriously.
