He's never gone to war personally, but they've gone through enough death and conflict to sort of wrap that up. Trial by fire. I just hope it doesn't take another monster attack for cooperation, you know? Hope springs eternal and all that. We're a pretty interesting group overall. You talk to enough people and you'll see that's true. We're not exactly normal people from normal worlds.

He figures Amos is definitely interesting. Quentin's got a good instinct. Generally he just likes people and it makes him feel good when they seem open and receptive to his particular brand of energetic enthusiasm. ]
