WHAT: Kai meets a doctor...and the doctor's boyfriend
NOTES OR WARNINGS: Potential racism/internalized racism
Kai is already starting to understand the value of Red Wings as a neutral meeting ground. Besides, now that he can get out of the Safehouse he wants to, even if it's just to take in a slightly different scenery.
He arrives well before the suggested meeting time, seating himself at a table and taking off the knit cap that otherwise covers his ears. He figures that'll make it clear enough who he is if additional clarification is needed. He's ordered a beer and is sipping at it slowly, more to fit in and look occupied than because he really wants the beer.
Up close, Kai is subtly inhuman - other than the ears - with deep purple eyes that have flecks of blue in them, wider pupils and eyes than most humans, a darkened lash line, high cheekbones, black hair, smooth skin a step past clean-shaven, with a golden undertone to it. He's trying to keep his eyes out for a human of some kind, but that's nonspecific enough to be less than helpful.
