[Lance nods at the comment, showing his agreement, though his gaze is still fixated on the agent until Akechi turns toward him. He shifts his attention back to Akechi and dutifully plays his part of the act, giving a fake sigh at the--presumably--equally fake whining.]
Fine, fine.
[Said in the restrained and yet still long-suffering way a friend or relative being dragged to something they don't want to go to might, but he then briefly glances back at the agent.]
If you'll excuse us.
[He says it politely, but even behind his sunglasses and under his baseball cap--which can and does light up when he wants it to, but thankfully that's turned off at the moment--his expression is in contrast, purposefully neutral in that way that dares a challenge. He isn't at all the intimidating type even when he tries to be, but he can counter that by prompting the natural hesitation that being met with calm confidence often causes.
But that's gone in a moment as he gestures for Akechi to take the lead; they're going away from the agent, after all, so even though Lance doubts they'll try anything it's still better to be careful. As much as Akechi is not his favorite person ever, he's still going to protect him where he can.
And, once they're some distance away--]
I guess we learned that particular agent isn't especially reactive.
[Which isn't saying much, but this whole little incident could've gone a lot worse, so he's not complaining too much.]
