Before using his newly received stipend to update his wardrobe, before getting something substantial in his belly aside from snatches of street-cart vendor food, and before even getting himself a proper drink to cut through the fact that this is his new reality, he has to establish a shelter. A safe-house. Something of that nature. As tempting as it is to simply walk into an apartment complex and request to look into their fancy minimalism lofts, there needs to be a degree of subtlety. Wild, his life has been up until to this point, but nothing has ever topped this.
It takes him almost a month to find what he's looking for, all the while taking to shelters or motels to get by before he settles on the right building. Not too fancy, not too run-down, needs to offer short-term leases, and if possible already furnished. He's used to complexes like this, especially living in California before he was taken away, so he can only hope that these sort of arrangements are still viable in places like post-apocalyptic Amsterdam. The area he sticks to is somewhere in between residential and business— just close enough to the bars and gyms, but not too far from Brandt Square should he wish to...for whatever reason.
Once the housing is settled, he gets that stupid allergy shot after waiting in line for a few hours. By the time the shots are done being administered, it's well into evening and he's in no mood to be on his feet any longer. He'll save the fun activities for another day...

PROMPT #2: the usual place
That, being, a place to drink. To unwind. To collect info while eavesdropping. To become a regular face around the place so that he can befriend owners, employees and fellow regulars alike. If he's going to scratch an itch, might as well take down as many birds as he can with this one stone, right?
He takes a seat at the bar itself, closest to the bartender, and orders one drink: Whiskey, neat. Regardless of the location, he repeats this little ritual, whether it's the first place he's been than night or the last.
"Busy night?" He asks the bartender for the evening (or anyone next to him should the bartender be busy). It's mostly to get a feel for how busy a place is. Maybe he can try and see if anyone needs an extra body to cover for a couple nights a week.
Some locations he visits tonight are as follows:
1. The Tulip/Tulip Bar
2. Inertia
3. Vesper (a little loud for his tastes, but he visits it nonetheless)
Any bars that are in the city are all touched upon, however, so feel free to encounter him at any bar that's not already listed in the Locations Roster. He's been pacing himself, so he won't be very intoxicated in any of these locations.
