It's a hell of a lot different than the Earth I'm from in some ways, and in others it's exactly the same. The environment's a mess and everything is structured around renewable resources because of it. Everyone has one of these—

—and everyone is obsessed with being connected to everyone and everything else all the time. Most of the power seems to be in the hands of a couple of people and corporations, and no one else can do anything about it.
