while it suckles at the bottle, gene deftly peels up one side of its mouth to show the little milk teeth it's got. it's an obvious herbivore, by the flats of its teeth. ）

Frankly, the hooves are more dangerous, especially the bigger they get. Kill a man straight off. But this little fella's only a couple days old, he wouldn't do more than lay a bruise or two.

He peers at the teeth for a moment, getting close to look at them. ]

They ain't prone to stampedes anyhow, unless something scares them or pisses them the Hell off. Ain't unlike humans in that sense.

Besides, I reckon we ain't in much danger here. I'm dreamin', an' you happened to stumble on into it.

I've never met a stampede of humans, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't want to.

[ Kai has backed off a bit more from the cow now that he's not looking at the teeth. ]

Not in dreams so much. Doesn't mean they ain't some measure of real, though. Folks use their powers to train here sometimes.
