[Markus' intonation lilts, interest clearly piqued. Sometimes he regrets how little he questioned Carl's knowledge of art; yes, he had been taught, he had learned by observing, but being too confined by what he thought were the rules of his own programming, Markus never had a chance to indulge himself beyond that. ( there was a story of a particularly bold artist that, upon hearing of the emperor's planned visit to the planet, had endeavored to create a work that would honor his arrival. it had gone about as well as you'd expect; the field had burned, the artist had been hunted, though never found. and eventually, alderaan was struck from the galactic map in one sudden and decisive blow. )
Alderaan had many large, grassy flatlands.
