the feast of sinterklaas

[From what Riku can grasp, New Amsterdam somehow has crafted a way to celebrate Christmas not once, but twice. It's weird to consider, but he knows that it wouldn't be an apartment without any of that ready to go. How does he get what he needs to get them set up? Well, see, some of the rest of his money went toward decorations, but he hid them away in a side room in the safehouse after writing his name on the bag.

And look, it worked!

Once the Feast of Sinterklaas hits, Riku works overnight to get the fake Christmas tree up, as well as the decorations around the house. While it's raining outside, it casts a shadow on the apartment. When everyone gets up, they'll find a living space filled with multi-colored lights.

Riku will be sleeping on the floor, not having wanted to wake his roommates. He has a pillow under his head, and he's splayed with his limbs stretched out a few different ways.

There aren't any presents to go under the artificial tree, but ...
